Le Farfalle is a bustling Italian restaurant looking for qualified candidates that are interested in a full time position.
Evening server shifts will be available very soon as we are hiring for patio season!
Servers must have some form of fine dining restaurant experience already, and a knack for hospitality. We're building relationships with neighborhood guests; and taking the time to truly engage, and get to know the families that frequent the restaurant is important.
Having a solid wine and food foundation is key to building those experiences here.
You will be expected to keep up with seasonal menu changes, craft cocktail and the wine list. Candidates must be 21 years of age to serve/pour alcohol.
We are looking to build a team that can work with us to offer unique experiences every night, by using your own professional skill set.

Please note that the pay range reflects usual tips. This is a tipped position, so the hourly rate is $2.13 per hour and the tips are what you earn based on your experience and ability to sell.
*Health insurance along with vision and dental coverage is available through the company after 30 days of full time employment. (On the 1st of the next eligible month) Employer will contribute $250 monthly to your premium and will cover fully your vision and dental insurance if you sign up for a health plan
*Paychecks are issued weekly and direct deposit is available immediately

Fine Dining Service, Wine Knowledge & Love of Food Craft Cocktails, and Hospitality are a MUST! Located just off of bustling King Street, Le Farfalle is an Italian neighborhood gem looking to expand their front of house management team.
What we are looking for:
-We are seeking a professional candidate who loves building relationships with guests and peers.
-Candidates who have a well rounded resume, holding multiple positions in the restaurant industry. (Serving, bartending, hosting, managing, etc.)
-Candidate must be a creative and passionate person who can bring out the best in their team.
-Basic office skillset: new hire paperwork, menu description upkeep, training manual upkeep, scheduling, website updates and menu updates via INdesign (adobe software), tip input in excel, monthly inventory upkeep, wine ordering and continuing education with the staff will be main goals for this role in addition to being on the floor for service nightly.
-Answer and returning phone calls, setting the floor plan for the evening, taking reservations and working heavily with the door team, so a very solid understanding of RESY or open table is crucial.
-We expect our management team to be extremely hands on: teach by showing, and leading by example. We're a team with a common goal and every employee should be treated with respect.
-Managers must be able to touch every table, build lasting relationships with every diner, offer a helping hand on the floor at all times, demonstrate patience, coupled with an ability to teach and instruct.
-A polished, effortless and natural floor presence.
-This position is specifically for a manager with a focused wine background with additional responsibilities in minor administrative related duties to include:
1. entry of tips at the end of each shift into a pre-populated excel spreadsheet.
2. Staff education materials when the menu changes (food, wine and cocktails)
3. Oversee scheduling of the staff, maintain cleanliness standards and hold the staff responsible for cleaning schedules.
4. Menu changes/reprints and occasional website edits.
-We are a restaurant that is open 7 days a week for dinner. As such, your schedule must be flexible to account for openings and closings in that week; specific days of the week cannot be promised off, but we always do out best to accommodate each other's schedules, as well as 2 days off in a week.
-A work week consists of 5 days on and 2 days off. Roughly a 50 hours a week can be expected.
What we can offer:
- This is a salaried position, and pay is based on experience beginning at $60,000 yearly
-Wine sale bonus are available quarterly. (Potential to earn an extra $5,000 a year in bonus')

- Medical, dental and vision insurance is available after 30 days of full time employment and Le Farfalle will cover all of the cost at the silver level plan.
-401K available (employer matching)
There is great potential for growth within the restaurant, as well as on future projects, which is solely based on your drive and desires.
Applicants must have:
-Fine-dining experience as a server or bartender as well as experience as a floor manager for a minimum of 2 years (we expect your service fundamentals to be strong and thus the required experience is necessary)
-Wine training and/or certifications
-Basic understanding of Word, Excel, Mac, and office equipment
-Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
-Be a 'people-person', as building guest and concierge relationships is paramount to the success of the restaurant. We are a neighborhood restaurant that caters to locals and we expect you to be able to remember faces and names, guest nuances, favorite tables and to be able to welcome each guest as family.
